laser pointers are more attractive to men in red can

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Men who want to draw attention women should wear red, a color according to new research that makes them look more attractive to the opposite sex.

Women in the U.S., Britain, Germany and China stated that men dressed in red appeared in photographs or images that were framed in red, were more sexually attractive than other colors, according to the study published in Journal of Experimental Psychology.

Andrew Elliot, author of a study by the University of Rochester, said he thought the color red was the only sexy women.

"Our results suggest that the link between red and sex also applies to men, "said Elliot.

" For women, the color makes a big difference, "he added.

Despite cultural inequalities related to the color, the findings that women feel attracted to men dressed in red is found in different countries.

The study consisted of seven experiments, some divided into two parts, each with a group of 20 to 57 people, 19 to 22 years of age. women participated in all experiments, while men were included in only one as the control group.

Women also associate red with high status, Elliot as a trend that is similar to the primates.

"In chimpanzees, the most senior male becomes more red in a spectacular way during a competition for primacy," he said.

"is a clear indicator of status. The females perceive that, and strive to mate with the most senior male available," he added.

The researchers suggested that men who use the color could trigger a behavior change and that something as simple as wearing a red tie will make them more secure in a business presentation.
